Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our client's finance team. In this role, you will own the month-end close processes, prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations, create and manage financial reports, and oversee fixed asset accounting. The Senior Accountant will also review accounts payable invoice coding, aging reports, and payroll tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and review monthly general ledger account reconciliations.
• Create, analyze, and manage financial reports, providing insights to senior management.
• Manage fixed asset accounting processes, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
• Review and ensure the accuracy of accounts payable invoice coding.
• Monitor and analyze aging reports, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Review payroll tax returns for accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the accuracy of financial data and reports.
• Participate in the implementation and improvement of accounting processes and systems.
• Assist with audits, providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
