Job Description:

Position DescriptionThe Executive Administrative Assistant (EA) will provide high-level administrative support to the President and/or other senior staff. The EA will be responsible for administrative support tasks including active calendar management, providing information in preparation of scheduled meetings, prepare official correspondence for the President or Deputy VP signature, arrange conference calls, prepare travel arrangements, and assure discreet handling of all business matters. This role will be in support of Lumbee Tribe Holdings, Inc and its subsidiaries including but not limited to Lumbee Tribe Enterprises, LLC.Responsibilities

  • Provides high-level administrative support and assistance to the President and other assigned leadership staff
  • Performs clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, invoices, reports, and other documents for senior staff
  • Arranges travel and accommodations for executives
  • Serve as the program owner for the corporate task management system. Track and manage organizational tasks
  • Collaborate and contribute to the corporate information flow in a timely and accurate manner
  • Schedules and attends meetings on behalf of executives, taking notes and recording minutes as directed
  • Receives incoming communication or memos on behalf of senior staff, reviews contents, determines importance, and summarizes and/or distributes contents to appropriate staff
  • Performs office tasks including maintaining records, ordering supplies, and performing basic bookkeeping
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by executivesEducation/Experience
    • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and related field preferred
    • At least ten years of related experience required
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
    • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
    • Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures and recordkeeping systems
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and have the ability to learn new software applications
    • Experience with SharePoint highly desiredPhysical Requirements
      • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
