Job Description JOIN OUR TEAM! \n \n We are currently looking for experienced Commercial Plumbers to join our team. If you are looking for a dynamic team to join in commercial construction, apply today! \n \n \n Pay Range: $20-$40/hr depending on experience \n Work Type: Full time \n Benefits: \n \n Medical, Dental, Vision plans \n Free Basic Life Insurance. \n Short- and Long-Term Disability \n 401k \n Paid Holidays \n Paid Time off \n \n \n Job Responsibilities \n \n Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures. \n Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals. \n Install waste, water, vent, and gas piping \n Follow building plans and blueprints. \n Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies. \n Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems. \n Light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling and electrical work as required. \n Install plumbing fixtures and equipment \n Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used. \n \n Commercial Plumber Qualifications / Skills: \n \n Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade \n Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices \n Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings \n Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper \n Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills \n Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted \n Excellent problem solving skills \n Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously \n Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements \n \n Education and Experience Requirements: \n \n High school diploma or GED certificate \n State plumbing license preferred \n 1-3 years experience as a journeyman plumber \n Valid driver’s license \n Must have own hand tools \n \n TA Woods LLC. is a Commercial HVAC/Plumbing, Commercial Design/Build, Construction, and Service company located in Wilmington, NC.
