Job Description:
Our client, a dedicated utility services provider, is seeking a
Water Distribution Maintenance Worker to join their team. As a
Water Distribution Maintenance Worker, you will be part of the
Water Operations Department supporting the maintenance and repair
of essential water infrastructure. The ideal candidate will
demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which
will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Water
Distribution Maintenance Worker Location: Greenville Pay Range:
$30.00 - $32.00 Based on Experience Shift: Monday - Friday 8a-5p
What's the Job? Perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance,
repair, and construction work on water mains, service lines,
meters, and related equipment. Use a variety of tools and light
equipment to build, repair, and replace water lines and
infrastructure. Assist with making water taps, installing fire
hydrants, and replacing water meters. Conduct inspections and minor
maintenance on pumps and other water system components. Collect
water samples for laboratory analysis and maintain accurate records
of work activities. What's Needed? High school diploma or
equivalent; experience in maintenance or construction is preferred.
Possession of a valid North Carolina driver’s license. Ability to
obtain Water Distribution Grade C certification from the State of
North Carolina. Knowledge of tools, materials, and safety practices
related to construction and maintenance work. Ability to operate
construction equipment and follow safety protocols. What's in it
