Job Description:
Civic Federal Credit Union, a premier institution offering
personalized financial solutions, is seeking a dedicated Member
Service Advisor to join our team in Wilmington. As part of our
commitment to serving the specific needs of local governments and
their affiliates throughout North Carolina, we require an
individual who embodies our values of innovation and efficient
service delivery. This role requires a proactive approach to
assisting members with their banking needs, providing knowledgeable
advice, and promoting our tailored banking products. Act as the
first point of contact for customer inquiries, providing exemplary
service and detailed information on products and services offered
by Civic Federal Credit Union. Assist members in account
management, from account opening to troubleshooting and routine
maintenance. Advise members on financial products that best suit
their needs, including loans, savings accounts, and investment
options. Resolve complaints and answer queries to maintain high
customer satisfaction. Work closely with other departments to
streamline customer services and foster an environment of
continuous improvement. Participate in community events to promote
the credit union's services and enhance community engagement.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent
problem-solving abilities Proficiency in banking software and
platforms Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
in the banking sector Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Preferred: Certified Customer Service
Professional (CCSP) Knowledge of federal and state regulations
affecting credit unions is a plus
