SummaryAs a CAD Operator, you will support assigned engineers, landscape architects, and surveyors by providing technical support and creating drawings using CAD software for projects. You will draft preliminary layouts from engineering notes, sketches, and/or other drawings. You will complete drawing/project responsibilities within scope, budget, and schedule while reviewing own work for completeness and accuracy. You will apply standard practices and techniques in specific situations, adjusts drawings, and are expected to recognize discrepancies in technical drawings and to pursue appropriate direction from design staff.Projects will include treatment facility planning and design, raw water intakes, water distribution lines, booster pump station design, regional water planning, water system mapping and management plans, life station design, sanitary sewer system planning and design, asset management planning, and a variety of permitting.Qualifications2+ years of related experience. Training and/or experience should include the use and familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and other programs with a working knowledge of drafting standards, mathematics, science, and engineering technology preferred.Valid driver's license.
