Job Description Job Description The Design Director of M-W Electric will play an instrumental role in the visual consistency, design quality, and aesthetics of various projects while navigating challenges with innovative solutions. They will build and lead our internal creative team while interacting and coordinating with other departments to ensure a high standard of work aligned with M-W Electric's brand identity and business objectives. Responsibilities: Direct the design strategy for the company, working closely with the marketing, product, and executive teams to determine the creative direction and messaging of various initiatives. Own the visual and design standards across the organization, constantly looking for opportunities to elevate and improve them. Facilitate brainstorming sessions and design sprints to generate ideas and concepts. Oversee the design process from conceptualization to final execution while ensuring quality control at all stages. Successfully deliver design projects on time and on budget, in alignment with company objectives. Recruit, mentor, and manage the design team, encouraging continual creative growth and productivity. Qualifications: At least ten years of experience in a design leadership role, ideally within an industrial, electrical or manufacturing company. Bachelor's degree in Design or related field (Master's degree preferred). Proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software. Exceptional project management skills with experience overseeing complex, multi-faceted projects. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and inspiring creative teams. In-depth understanding of design principles, industry trends, and branding expertise. Superior communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively articulate design concepts and strategy to stakeholders.
