Job Description:
Position Summary The Department of Chemistry at the University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for a
tenure-track assistant professor faculty position in Physical
Chemistry, broadly defined. Candidates are expected to establish a
vigorous independent research program and teaching excellence in
Experimental Physical Chemistry at the graduate and undergraduate
levels. Applicants will also be expected to be involved in
curriculum and laboratory course development, serve on committees,
and engage in appropriate departmental activities. Preferred
Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience Candidates with both
postdoctoral experience and demonstrated experience with innovative
and evidence-based teaching methods will be considered most
competitive.
