Job Description:
Position Summary The Department of History at the University of
North Carolina Chapel Hill invites applications for a tenure-track
Distinguished Professor in History. This position will be
responsible for teaching a 2:2 load while continuing their own
research, participating in departmental service, and mentoring
undergraduate/graduate students. Responsibilities include teaching
undergraduate and graduate courses in U.S. history and/or other
field(s) of specialty (U.S. Civil War history). Sub-field is open.
