Job Description:

Will be reponsible for servicing and repairing medical imaging equipment through out the FirstHealth system.
A.A.S. Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics Engineering or equivalent military training. Successful internship at health system with comparable services and size to FirstHealth. Certification through AAMI / ICC as a CRES is preferred. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. 30 minute response for phone triage required. 1 hr. call back may be required if necessary to repond on-site. Knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology as applied to use of imaging equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude. Advanced knowledge of networking theory and PC repair fundamentals. Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair imaging systems using electronic test equipment, service documentation, simulators, and diagnostic software. Computer skills including use of email, spreadsheets, word processing, internet search and computerized maintenance management systems. Knowledge of safety precautions when servicing high voltage equipment and working with ionizing radiation. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to research and track down difficult to find information. Ability to identify and address image quality related issues. Knowledge of advanced imaging equipment repair techniques.
