Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Steel Darlington is seeking a creative, process minded, data-driven individual for the role of a Process Engineer. This position will be embedded within the Rolling Mill team and expected to work closely with operations, quality, and commercial teams. A successful candidate will be safety minded, team focused, and action oriented. This position will be expected to be a production-critical support/resource, analyze, lead, and improve data-driven processes, continuously track production performance compared to internal goals, and learn/develop new analysis tools with the intent to improve productivity and profitability. This position will work overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays as business conditions warrant. [[cust_safetyState]]
Minimum Qualifications:

• 
  
• Four-year college degree or 5 years in a technical role.
  
  Preferred Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Experience with ERP & MES use for reporting and analysis.
    
    
  • 
    Experience with data mining and data analysis tools
    
    
  • 
    Advance understanding of Excel/Power BI Skills.
    
    
  • 
    Familiar with IBA Analyzer
