for Quality Engineer positions with a global leader of quality
water solutions for residential, industrial, municipal, and
commercial settings.
Position Details
Location: St. Pauls, NC (greater Fayetteville)
Compensation: $80K-$87K + 5-10% bonus + relocation.
Shift: Standard daytime salary hours 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday -
Friday.
Travel: 10% travel, occasionally to domestic supplier, customer, or
other sites as needed.

Position Description
As a Quality Engineer, you will participate in and lead the
continuous improvement and overall management of St Pauls Quality
department, ensuring compliance with corporate requirements, ISO,
and all other applicable quality standards. Key responsibilities
include:
--- Assure compliance to codes and standards.
--- Plan and conduct analysis, design, test, and/or integration to
the quality of products and components.
--- Work with suppliers to ensure quality of all purchased parts
for company use.
--- Interface with procurement, engineering, manufacturing,
customer, or suppliers to coordinate and resolve quality-related
problems.
--- Develop and implement methods and procedures for disposition of
discrepant material, product or process quality, and
reliability.
--- Implement and manage the company's corrective action
system.
--- Prepare reports and scorecards to communicate results of
quality assurance activities.
--- Be the primary contact for all customer related quality
issues.
Position Requirements
--- Bachelor's degree in a related technical engineering or
manufacturing area.
--- 5+ years' experience with the use & implementation of quality
concepts in a machining/assembly manufacturing setting.
--- Formal quality training and certification (ASQ CQM or Lean
Sigma Belt Certification)
--- Prior experience with the implementation and use of statistical
process control and CI tools.
--- Solid business acumen, project management, decision-making
ability, and leading/managing change.
--- Experience leading strategy and goal development with
improvement focus and demonstrated results.
--- Excellent written/verbal communication with solid computer
proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
