  • HVACWhy join us?Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance.Health Insurance.Life Insurance.Dental Insurance.Vision Insurance.Temporary Disability Insurance.Long-term Disability Insurance.Profit Sharing401(k) PlanDefined Benefit Pension PlanDefined Contribution Pension Plan5-10% Annual BonusJob DetailsJOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Participate in the continuous improvement and overall management of St Paul's Quality, ensuring compliance with corporate requirements, ISO and all other applicable quality standards.Work with all teams to develop main business processes, procedures and work instructions.Initiate, monitor, complete, and audit Corrective Actions for effectiveness.Lead problem solving activities related to the St Paul's QualitySupport all projects relating to cost of quality/cost of failure.Provide necessary support for St. Paul's to ensure continued ISO certification by being an internal auditor and conducting monthly Internal ISO AuditsSupport the Tiered Daily Management Process and Continuous Improvement Operating SystemProvide training and help develop St. Paul's staff.Lead and provide support for Kaizen events, Six Sigma projects and daily activities that will support manufacturing, engineering and quality efforts.Follow a Six Sigma DMAIC road map to lead performance improvements and cost reductions.Complete cause investigations and implements corrective actions and preventive actions by participating on teams.Provide support for Customer-facing and St. Paul's facing Quality activities. Customer-facing activities include the active management and improvement of St. Paul's Customer Quality metrics.Collect, tracking, and improving metrics for customer product and non-product issues, support yearly goal planning and customer metrics improvement.Initiate Corrective Actions for pervasive Customer issues; provide response to customer complaints.St. Paul's facing activities include the active management and improvement of St. Paul's Quality metrics.Collect, tracking, and improving metrics for St. Pauls quality performance for internal quality and supplier quality issues including scrap, rework, and process quality; support yearly goal planning and Sites' metrics improvements.Initiate Corrective Actions for pervasive internal quality issues and supplier quality issues and providing sustained follow up for corrective action effectiveness.Be an important participant in the New Product Development process ensuring process carefulness; complete all deliverables of the NPD process and applying NPD principles to the large amount of custom, low volume/high mix business in the St. Paul's plant.Participate and support new St. Pauls programs.Support domestic or international Codes and Standards activities.EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in a related engineering or manufacturing area required.MANAGEMENT:No direct reports - influence positionREQUIREMENTS:Must have 5 to 7 years' experience with the use and implementation of Quality concepts in a manufacturing environment.Six Sigma Green Belt Required.Prior experience with the implementation and use of Statistical Process Control and Continuous Improvement ToolsMust have experience in basic Metrology and Calibration.Certified Lead Auditor or ISO Auditor is a plusSupervisory and management experience in a manufacturing environment is a plusRequired to travel domestically, percentage varies.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSWork in an office environmentMay work regularly with the plant floor and QA lab.Move throughout the plant and office areas.Alternates between sitting, standing, and moving within the work area.Can manipulate equipment used in performance of tasks.Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.Other demands include oral, written, and presentation/communications skills.Work in both office and manufacturing environment.
