Department of Defense (DOD), Veteran Administration (VA) and for

customized solutions, and proprietary government systems. ACET is
seeking an H-1 Airframes/Hydraulics Mechanic (CDQAR) i n our MCAS
New River location. Position Responsibilities: Will serve as a
CDQAR from the primary discipline of Airframes MOS 6154 during the
contract duration. Performs routine aircraft maintenance functions.
Operates aircraft towing equipment in towing operations. Maintains
aircraft hydraulic and structural systems. Performs corrosion
prevention and treatment. Performs preventive maintenance
inspections on aircraft and aircraft systems and subsystems.
Performs troubleshooting, repair, modifications, corrosion control
and preservation of aircraft and aircraft systems and aircraft
sub-systems. Services ground support equipment. Performs preventive
maintenance inspections on all ground support equipment. Uses
blueprints, schematics, technical drawings and manufacturers’
drawings and sketches in the performance of assigned duties.
Perform carbon fiber, sheet metal and composite repairs. Performs
quality technical inspection of aircraft, aircraft components,
parts, repairs, and systems (including avionics, electrical,
instrument and armament) as required by functional assignment.
Performs quality and safety inspections of on-site equipment and
tools used in aircraft maintenance, vehicles, and equipment.
Performs initial, in-progress and final quality technical
inspections during maintenance, repair, modification, rework, and
overhaul of aircraft, aircraft components, and component parts, and
overhaul of aircraft, aircraft components, and component parts
Provides technical guidance, instructions, and interpretation of
written instructions and procedures to mechanics as required to
assure acceptable quality work and flight line services. Assists in
preparation, processing, and answering of Product Quality
Deficiency Reports (PQDRs). Monitor compliance and provide guidance
in Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Programs,
(FOD/Confined Space/Lockout-Tag out/Fall Protection). Maintains
aircraft forms and records using the Optimized Naval Aviation
Logistic Management Information System (OOMA). Position
Requirements: UH1/AH1 Airframes Organizational Maintenance course
completion Minimum of 8 years aviation experience with 4 years
rotary wing experience Four (4) years' minimum experience as a
Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) or Collateral Duty Quality
Assurance Representative (CDQAR) on Military Aircraft or 4 years
FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) experience. Must have four (4)
years' experience in a primary MOS from the following OccFlds:
6154, equivalent skill designation from other services, or possess
valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification. High school
diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED)
certificate U.S Citizen and must pass a background check and be
able to obtain and maintain a Common access card. UH1 or AH1
experience is required. Must be able to meet any Government/Company
licensing/qualification requirements for the position. Must have
knowledge of the proper use of hand tools in aircraft maintenance.
Must demonstrate an operational knowledge of aircraft, aircraft
systems, engines and component parts. Able to read and write, and
interpret and comply with aircraft maintenance procedures, manuals,
specifications, and directives, guides and forms used on the job.
Must be able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings,
technical manuals, and use measuring instruments, gauges, tools,
and test equipment. Must show proficiency in the use of OOMA after
assignment. Must have and maintain a SECRET clearance Physical
Requirements: Must be able to lift and maneuver 50 pounds. Must be
able to pass fit for work physical and/or drug test as required.
Must be able to work in areas that require awkward posturing,
bending, kneeling, squatting, to include working overhead. Must be
able to work at height in the hangar and on the flightline. Must be
able to man and perform Flightline Extinguisher duties. If required
must be able to pass a DOT physical and operate Powered Industrial
Trucks. If required must be able to pass a respiratory physical and
wear a respirator for 2 - 4 hours. If required must be able to
perform confined space activities. Travel may be required. All
