Status: Not Required Collins Aerospace is looking for a Mechanical
Assembler Training Coordinator to join our team, supporting
shipping and other logistics functions for our Wilson, NC location.
In this role, you will be responsible for the successful on-the-job
training (OJT) of our production employees, new employee
orientation, ensuring the job training is being performed for all
our new hires. Support manufacturing leadership with cross training
activities that will help production employees expand their
knowledge, gain experience towards career progression, and ensure
all work cells have enough bench strength, so production is not
impacted. This role will also be expected to follow up with
employees to ensure their onboarding process is meeting the desired
outcome. This is a 1st shift position with the following hours:
Monday-Friday; 7:00am – 3:00pm (overtime may be required) What You
Will Do Supports and contributes to the success of our new employee
orientation. Reviews upcoming new employee hiring with talent
acquisition and applicable supervisor to ensure there is a detailed
plan. Performs follow up surveys and interviews with recent hires
to look for ways to improve our onboarding process. Performs
process walks with quality and production staff to align on-the-job
training with actual performance on the floor and work
instructions. Works with Supervisors and quality to identify
employees that need to go back through training. Works with
Supervisor to build deeper bench strength throughout work cells.
Identifies needed training for employees within assigned work
cells. Provides stand-down training as needed. Ensures Workday and
Ethics and Compliance training is up to date for all production
employees. Ability to work flexible off shift hours based on

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US)
or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a
minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Qualifications We Prefer
University degree in technical fields SAP business system
experience Leadership of people and/or projects in the Aerospace
Industry Industry certifications such as CORE/Six
Sigma/LEAN/Project Management/PE Continuous Improvement experience
with cost or quality or delivery or yield or capacity. Role Type:
