General Job Description
The Training Manager will identify and monitor training needs in
the organization and design, plan, and implement training programs,
policies, and procedures to fulfill those needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Reviews existing training processes, systems and structures for
efficiency and effectiveness. Identifies gaps and gap closure
Jointly with Area Training resources develops enhancements and
modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or
to meet the changing needs of the business.
Ensures that training materials and programs are current, accurate,
Ensures a robust and up to date tracking process and system are in
place to demonstrate regulatory compliance where/when required.
Routine reporting of KPI's across the organization.
Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and
training requirements applicable to the organization and/or
Identifies problems and opportunities such as operational changes
or industry developments that training could improve.
Conducts or facilitates required and recommended training sessions
Collaborates with vendors and third-party training providers to
arrange employee registration for and participation in outside
Proactively engages with the local school systems and technical
college system to meet current training needs as well as developing
a talent pipeline for the future.
Proactive participation with national and state organization to
ensure leveraging of all resources available.
Proactively engages State and Federal Agencies to maximize grant
and support funding for training and manages processes and required
Establishes KPI's for training and monitors performance that
ensures that all training milestones and goals are met while
adhering to approved training budget.
Prepares and implements training budget.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Adheres to all corporate policies and standards
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Thorough understanding of training processes.
Ability to moderate large groups.
Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Familiarity with Government interface
Education and Experience:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Business or related area required
and/or 5+ years' experience in Manufacturing training
At least two years of experience in training with one year of
supervisory experience required.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, at times.
Evidence of excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all
Ability to follow instructions in an efficient manner.

Willingness to learn new concepts and ideas.
