Website:Summary of Job Duties:The Fiscal Support Manager is the
primary contact for Biomedical Engineering as relates to all fiscal
and budgetary matters. Responsibilities for this position include
providing research support to faculty in the form of grant proposal
coordination/submission as well as by assessing for grant
compliance (University, State, Federal guidelines). In addition to
maintaining the database of sponsored projects, this position will
provide overall fiscal management for the state budget. This
position will work with personnel to provide budget planning and
projections pertaining to all accounts. This position will be the
primary contact in the department to set up new cost centers, make
cost center adjustments and perform account reconciliation. This
position will approve all purchasing transactions in the department
and initiate all purchase order requests. The fiscal support
analyst will also oversee foundation related accounts by performing
budget maintenance, oversee budgeting for scholarship assignments
and execute quarterly reporting. This position will work with the
Program Coordinator to input functions of payroll and leave as well
as serve as support for faculty, staff, and student-specific
groups. The Fiscal Support Manager will assist with data collection
for annual financial reporting as required by all constituents.
Along with the required fiscal related duties, this position will
provide special event support and perform other duties as assigned
within the department.Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive
attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create
and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with
