Position Information:
The Executive Director of Oncology is the Dyad partner with the Chief of Oncology for the Health System and is responsible for the administrative management including the strategic vision, operating and financial outcomes for the designated service programs and departments. Accountable for the integration of the WakeMed mission, vision and values into the performance of all areas of responsibility. Partner with physician administrators, executive leadership and nurse leaders across the health system and community to ensure oncology care is integrated and of the highest quality. Develops and maintains effective business relationships with physicians and healthcare extenders to ensure growth opportunities. The Executive Director will provide administrative leadership in all clinical and administrative areas for oncology services. The Executive Director will report to the senior vice president of the Raleigh Enterprise and have a matrix relationship with the other enterprise leaders at Cary, North and WakeMed Physician Practices and Ambulatory.
