  • Great work-life balanceAbout the Role:The Pharmacy Services Manager assists the Pharmacist In Charge in managing and maintaining the pharmacy operations, as well as assisting in optimizing productivity of the pharmacy staff. The Pharmacy Services manager champions inter-functional collaboration and communication across work areas to support the pharmacy practice. This includes adherence and enforcement of procedures and service quality assurances. This position is based at 360 North Irby St. in Florence, SC.
    About the Role:

    • Manage pharmacy operations workflow ensuring team members are highly productive through efficient labor scheduling and maximization of workload balancing activities.
    • Schedule store's staff, plus approve timecards and PTO to ensure proper coverage is maintained at all times.
    • Identify and help resolve service quality issues by working with pharmacists and technicians to achieve goals.
    • Lead productivity analysis and provide reporting of metrics to leadership on a regular basis.
    • Generate trending reports. Collect and report data for quality improvement, review and analyze indications from reports, and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency and/or effectiveness.
    • Collaborate with training and development, identifiy and support ongoing training as needed.
    • Use problem solving skills, tact, and discretion to oversee and assist in directing the Pharmacy workflow and its staff.
    • Foster and promote Avita's 'be the care" culture.
    • Promote a positive work environment and contribute to a dynamic team that actively helps one another to achieve optimal department results.
    • Exemplify and encourage professionalism, productivity, performance, and efficiency of pharmacy staff.
    • Pharmacy hours: Mon - Fri: 8:00am - 7:00pm and Sat: 9:00am-2:00pm
      About You:

      • Pharmacist license or Pharmacy Tech state certification through an accredited certification program.
      • Must be in good standing in the state(s) in which s/he practices and in states served by the location.
      • Registered with the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation or State Board of Pharmacy.
      • High School diploma/GED required.
      • Excels at managing operational workflow and leveraging technology for efficiency gains as well as monitoring efficiency.
      • Continually anticipates and analyzes opportunities to provide solutions in a proactive manner.
      • Demonstrates analytical skills and ability to understand indicators from data collected to exercise sound judgment in developing recommended solutions.
      • Demonstrates the ability to work independently and present information in an organized and professional manner to pharmacists and management.
      • Remains open to ideas and changes focused on strengthening operational efficiency.
      • Works cooperatively with and fosters professional, respectful relationships with coworkers.
      • Gives and receives feedback in an open and positive manner.
      • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
      • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and if hired, must provide proof of vaccination
