  The TreeHouse Foods of Faison, NC location has an outstanding opportunity for a 1st shift role as a Machine Operator. Starting pay $18.89 per hours and goes up to $19.39 per hour after 90 days!!

  About the Role:
  
  The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for performing and reviewing analysis of the facilities Food Safety and Quality programs in accordance with accepted Good Manufacturing Practices as mandated by government agencies and company policy and in accordance with customer specific requirements. The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for the execution of all actions required to maintain and enhance the quality and food safety programs including but not limited to Environmental Monitoring, Sanitation Effectiveness and Pre-Operational Inspection programs and Good Manufacturing Practices throughout the manufacturing plant. You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
  
  • Performing routine testing and review of testing of all quality and food safety work including, but not limited to; analytical and physical characteristics, foreign material detection/rejection devices, COAs, preventive control monitoring records, corrective actions, GMP inspections, etc.
  • Being knowledgeable in basic computer usage and an excellent communicator
  • Attending production shift huddles and being the subject matter expert for quality related programs for each shift in accordance with continuance improvement activities.
  • Maintaining a good working relationship with other departments to ensure no interruption in business and a fair but strict implementation of all working company rules.
    
    Important Details: This is a seasonal role on dayshift with the potential for a full time hire, which operates as early as 4:00 am to as late as 4:00 pm.
    
    About You:
    
    You'll fit right in if you have:
    
    • A diploma/bachelor's in food science, Microbiology, Food Chemistry or relevant field
    • Knowledge of analytical techniques, chemistry, microbiology and math skills
    • The ability to think proactively and provide effective feedback to other departments and leadership
