    • Unit Details: intermediate, step-down unit, PCU. We are a cardiac unit that specializes in post op open heart, dysthymia, chest pain, chf
      
    • Number of Beds: 7 hln 16 beds 8hln 16 beds
      
    • Number of Staff RN: 28 current (open positions 10 dayshift and 15 nightshift)
      
    • Patient Ratios: 4:1 or 5:1 with a very rare occasion 6:1
      
    • Type of equipment: EMR Cerner
      
    • Skill Set Most recruited for: NIH, competent post cath sheath removal, competent with cardiac drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, primacor, dobutamine, dopamine, and heparin.
      
    • List typical procedures performed on unit(s): bedside thoracentesis, cardioversion, wound dressing changes
      
    • Best personality Fit: team oriented
      
    • Dress Code: Scrub Color - Galaxy Blue

    • Have long term experienced staff on both dayshift and night shift, have 2 RNs on dayshift that have been with the organization for 30 years and night shift has 30 years, 24 years, 15 years, experienced staff RNs.
