_*Sampson Regional Medical Center*_ is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Medical Surgical Unit!Responsibilities:- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or authorized prescribers- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and response to treatment- Educate patients and their families about various health conditions and treatment plans- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to prevent the spread of infections- Provide health coaching to patients to promote wellness and prevent diseaseRequirements:- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of NC or Nurse Compact License- Minimum three years of experience working in an hospital setting r or similar healthcare setting- Ability to assist with patient transfers as neededAs a Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients by providing high-quality nursing care.
