- CME (Continuing Medical Education)The Clinic Nurse is
responsible for providing direct and indirect care to patients and
utilizes the nursing process including: assessment, planning,
implementation, evaluation and recording of patient care and
patient education. Coordinates support to providers by anticipating
the needs and providing assistance in the provision of care.
Coordinates services with other members of the health-care team,
internal and external, to provide complex patient care, including
the administration of intravenous infusions and wound care. Assists
in maintaining an inventory of supplies and medications and orders
as needed. Ensures all quality assurance measures are achieved.
Completes all other duties as assigned.Education/Experience:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.Preferred: Has
practiced nursing in the last 3 years. Prefer experience in home
care or long-term care setting, and ideally, PACE experience. Two
years of acute care management experience is preferred and/or 1
year of community-based nursing experience.
- Must possess knowledge and skills necessary to treat
patients
- Meet a standardized set of competencies for the specific
position established by PHSC and approved by CMS before working
independently
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication
skillsType of Employees Supervised: None.Licensure, Registry or
Certification Required: RN currently licensed in NC; present
credentials which demonstrate ability to meet performance criteria
for the RN position; Valid NC driver's license.Immunizations: Be
medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all
immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment.Pay Range -
