Job Description DextroMedical is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Stepdown - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Shift and Unit details: Auto Offer Start date: ASAP Shifts: Nights / 3 x 12's Will accept as13-26 week contract Ratios/Daily Caseload: 1:6-7 Years of experience REQ: 2 yrs. First-timers accepted: Yes Weekend REQ: EOW Float Requirement: Yes Patient diagnosis: Congestive Heart Failure; Arrhythmias; Post-cardiac Cath The Unit monitors cardiac patients. Cardiac Drips (Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Dopamine, etc). Sheaths Pulls, TR Bands, Femstop Special Requirements: EPIC Trauma Level experience: level 1 or 2 Skills: Telemetry AND PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience. Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring are required. Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, and Sheath Removal experience required. Accessing ports, Blood Product Administration, central Line/care management, PICC line management, Cardiac drip-titrate Diltiazem and Amiodarone, Post Cardiac Cath Experience Certifications and other preferred skills: BLS ACLS NIHSS Charge RN experience: preferred Candidates within 50 mile radius will be considered local DextroMedical Job ID Atrium-01. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
