Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Technologist to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the operating room (OR) by providing essential support during surgical procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of aseptic techniques, medical terminology, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures, ensuring all instruments and supplies are available and functioning. Assist surgeons and other medical personnel during operations by passing instruments, sutures, and other necessary items. Perform data collection and documentation related to surgical procedures, including maintaining accurate records of instruments used. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures throughout the surgical process. Collaborate with the surgical team to facilitate effective communication and coordination before, during, and after surgeries. Participate in patient care within an ambulatory surgery center setting, including assisting with pre-operative and post-operative tasks. Maintain knowledge of current practices in acute care settings, pediatrics, emergency medicine, and other relevant areas.
