Overview: Nurse Manager - Clinical Operations Central Staffing -
RN Float Pool This position provides management and accountability
for clinical PRN and benefited float staff to ensure adequate and
competent staff that can provide safe and quality care. Nurse
Manager for Float pool department provides RN support for Coastal
Region. Supported by ASN and non-clinical Supervisor. Department
consists of RNs, CNAs, Safety Attendants and TeleSitters (virtual
observation services within the department). NM oversees staffing
office which is a 24/7 for Coastal Region. Based in NHRMC but cover
the region ability to go to BMC, Pender and Scott’s Hill. Size of
dept is about 100 staff, it is growing. Vacancies in RN role and
Traveler’s. Growing to 200 staff. Staff float to all departments
within NHRMC, BMC, Pender & Scott’s Hill facilities predominately
Med/Surg, Emergency and Critical Care (ICU). Work Schedule: Monday
- Friday, 8am - 5pm Status: Full Time/Benefits Eligible Benefits |

Qualifications: Education: BSN Required; Master's Degree in
business or healthcare related field Preferred. Graduate Degree,
preferred. Experience: Minimum five years supervisory experience in
a heath care environment, required. Previous staffing experience,
preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in
appropriate state, required. Additional Skills (required): Detail
oriented, self-directed, effective problem-solving and
decision-making skills, excellent customer service and
interpersonal skills, good intra and interdepartmental
relationships. Creative thinker. Working knowledge of Time and
Staffing/API. Ability to influence people, along with people skills
to achieve outcomes that result in a win-win for the patients as
well as the departments. Additional Skills (preferred): Board
Certified in area of practice. Responsibilities: It is the
