Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/02/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Location: Fayetteville, NC Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift, 4x10-Hour (07:00 – 17:00) Job Responsibilities: - Perform and assist with interventional radiology procedures including angiography, embolization, stent placement, and biopsies. - Operate fluoroscopy and digital imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images during procedures. - Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, ensuring safety protocols, and maintaining sterile technique. - Monitor patient vitals and condition during procedures, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and anesthesia staff. - Administer and document contrast media usage and adhere to radiation safety standards. - Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment and assist with inventory management of interventional supplies. - Accurately document procedures and patient data in the Epic electronic health record (EHR). - Float within scope to support other radiology or procedural units as needed.
