Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology
Technologist with 2 years of IR experience, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
certification for a day shift contract. Responsibilities - Position
is in an acute care hospital with a Level III Trauma Center and
teaching environment - Work within the Interventional Radiology
unit with procedures specific to IR - Patient population includes
adult acute care and trauma cases - Day shifts consist of four
10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM - Weekend shifts are
required every other weekend - No on-call requirement - Candidates
may be required to float within scope to similar units or sister
campuses - Epic is used for charting and proficiency is required -
Scrubs are provided by the facility - First-time travelers are
accepted - All callouts for scheduled shifts must be made up as
deemed necessary by the department - RTO is limited and subject to
manager discretion with a maximum of 4 days and only 1 holiday
approved - Return staff must have been gone for at least 1 year to
be eligible - Position is limited to a 2-contract maximum before a
6-month break is required Requirements - Minimum of 2 years
Interventional Radiology experience required - Active state or
compact licensure required; license required if applicable -
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required - Must pass
EKG exam prior to start - Epic experience required - Must have
completed pre-start modules (4-10 hours, non-billable) - Applicants
must live more than 50 miles from the facility - No background or
