Job Description:
This position is located at WOMACK Army Medical Center in the
Department of Behavioral Health at the Womack Army Medical Center,
Fort Bragg, NC. This is an employed civilian Supervisory Physician
(Psychiatry ) position that affords job security, a competitive

Fayetteville, Hope Mills, and Linden Oaks. Many facilities and

dining, full service banking, convenience shop, barbershop, and
florist. As a Supervisory Physician Psychiatrist you will:
Supervisor outlines the general scope of professional services,
administrative policies, and provides general professional,
administrative and medical direction. Serve as expert advisor on
Army, and MTF behavioral health policies and procedures to
successfully achieve functions, missions, and objectives.
Participate in quality assurance, and quality improvement studies,
utilization review, risk management, and peer review activities.
plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust
short-term priorities, prepare schedules for completion of work.
Direct all aspects of BH clinic and services, promote patient
centered services, access to quality care. Examine and conduct
thorough studies of presenting patients and evaluate laboratory and
clinical findings, prescribing appropriate treatment or referring
patient to appropriate specialty clinics. Board Certified in
Psychiatry Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required
for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by
the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.Candidates must have a permanent,
full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State,
District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a
territory of the United States.
