Travel Nurse Job Details - Assignment Type: Travel ICU RN - Location: Fayetteville, NC 28304 (North Carolina healthcare jobs) - Facility Type: Short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center, Teaching Hospital - Unit: ICU (7 Valley Pavilion) - Start Date: November 17, 2025 - End Date: February 16, 2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00) - Hours per Week: 36 - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1830 - $1880 per week - Patient Ratios: 1:2-3 - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend - Charting System: Epic EMR - Scrub Color: Royal blue and white - Guaranteed Hours: All contracted shifts guaranteed after 2 call-offs per 13-week assignment - Floating: May float within scope to meet facility needs - Local Candidates: Not accepted within 50 miles of the facility ICU RN Qualifications - Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state or compact) - Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS - Must pass EKG exam (no exceptions) - Epic charting experience required - Travel nursing experience preferred - Ability to float between similar units as needed - Must be able to work every other weekend - Pending RN license not accepted ICU Nurse Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill adult and geriatric patients in the ICU - Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment - Administer medications, manage ventilators, and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips - Perform and interpret 12-lead EKGs; manage dysrhythmias - Assist with procedures: chest tube insertion/removal, arterial and central line management, lumbar drains - Provide care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, trauma, and post-surgical needs - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries - Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR - Participate in orientation and complete required modules prior to start - Float to other units within scope as needed to support patient care Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Fayetteville, North Carolina!
