Job Description:
The Fayetteville, NC Veterans Affairs Medical Center is
recruiting a Chief Gastroenterologist to assure effective delivery
of GI care while meeting and exceeding compliance standards. You
will provide expert consultation and treatment to patients in the
inpatient and outpatient clinical settings, including, specific GI
clinics, GI procedures, and for inpatient medical, surgical, and
critical care services. You will also provide feedback and patient
education to the patients and their families. Evaluate, diagnose,
consult, and order appropriate diagnostic studies and treatments
for all GI patients under your care. Provide consultative
evaluations for other services, including general medical wards,
surgical wards, and the emergency department. Sign-on bonus is
available! Assistance with payment of outstanding med school loans
up to $200K. We offer: - Annual performance bonus up to an
additional $15K per year - Guaranteed salary increases - One full &
unrestricted license from any state is permissible to work at VA -
CME: $1,000 per year stipend & 5 days paid absence for conferences,
