Job Description:
Nurses Etc. Staffing is looking for a full-time Rheumatologist
MD/DOto join our team at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Liberty,
North Carolina. This is a unique opportunity to work with
active-duty military and their beneficiaries. The position

Rheumatologist Requirements: Degree/Education: Doctor of Medicine
(MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree Certifications in addition
to Basic Life Support: Continuing Medical Education (CME)
requirements in AR 351-3 or as determined by the provider?s State
of licensure, whichever is more stringent. Basic Life Support
(BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation
Provider (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), etc.
certifications. The American Heart Association Basic Life Support
for Healthcare Providers is the only program accepted for these
certifications. Experience: See below Board Certification: Board
certified/board eligible in Rheumatology by the American Board of
Internal Medicine (ABIM). Licensure/Registration: Shall possess and
maintain throughout the life of the contract a valid, unrestricted
state license to practice medicine in one of the 50 states in the
United States or the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of
Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands. Additional licenses
held by a provider must be in good standing whether they are
inactive, expired, or limit the provider?s practice to a military
setting. The healthcare provider?s license(s) must remain current,
valid, and unrestricted throughout the duration of the contract
worker performance on the contract. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA)
Registration: Requirements for DEA registration numbers are
required for Rheumatologist. Must have and maintain a current,
valid, unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
registration number (certificate) to prescribe controlled
substances in accordance with the law of the state where services
are provided. Duties: The duties are as follows: The contract
provider shall perform all procedures commonly performed by a

personnel in care and treatment of patients to include
nontherapeutic services such as physical examinations. Initiate
requests for tests, x-rays, and admissions to the medical treatment
