Job Description:
Locums General Surgery - Clinton, North Carolina Reason:
Coverage for surgeon vacation Setting: hospital inpatient Start
Date: March 2, 2022 End Date: March 4, 2022 Call only (beeper) 24
hour shifts 7am - 7pm Bread and Butter Surgery: Hernia repair,
cholecystectomy, breast surgery, "lumps and bumps," abscess
drainage, endoscopy (EGD and colonoscopy), appendectomy, small
bowel and colon surgery. Must have clean background; NO RECENT OR
OPEN MALPRACTICE CASES Malpractice or disciplinary information must
be included before candidate will be considered. Board
Certification required Provider must be NC Medicaid credentialed.
Must have active NC license and NC DEA (NC address). Surgeon will
be provided hospital owned individual apartments onsite. Very nice
and clean, cable and Wi-Fi. Any travel expenses will be capped at
$500.00. This includes airfare, rental car OR mileage (not both).
Call type: physician will be on-call for services, and bylaws
require them to be within 20 minutes of the facility. Preferred
housing, again, is on-site in hospital-owned apartments. Meditech
6.1 is current EMR. Need 4 - 6 hours gratis daily. Preference is to
have gratis hours bulked
