Job Description:

The Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic in Pembroke, NC is recruiting an outpatient psychiatrist. You will perform initial psychiatric evaluations, conduct medication management clinics, refer to other specialties or subspecialties, and provide appropriate treatment and management for general psychiatric problems on a predominantly outpatient basis. Conduct evaluation of veterans to establish diagnosis and management plan, to make a safety assessment, to develop a treatment plan including medication management, to order pertinent laboratory tests, procedures (e.g., EKG), and imaging, and to determine an appropriate disposition of these patients. Mon-Fri schedule, may participate in remote on-call. VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package: Sign-on Bonus is available!
