Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Fayetteville,
North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med

Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days -
Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is
seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in a Level
III Trauma teaching hospital, requiring a NC or compact license and
at least 2 years of recent MS/Tele experience. /n /n
Responsibilities/n - Work in a short-term acute care hospital on a
Med/Surg Telemetry unit - Patient ratios are 1:5-6 on the MS/Tele
unit - Level III Trauma Center and teaching environment - Required
to work every other weekend - Day shifts are 4x12 hours from 7:00
to 19:00 - Floating within scope to like units as needed - No
on-call required - Epic EMR is used; experience preferred - Care
for adult patients on a combined Med/Surg Telemetry unit -
Team-based environment with support from other nursing
professionals - Royal blue and white scrubs are required - Facility
operates as a teaching hospital and trauma center - Time off
requests are subject to manager discretion - Holiday coverage may
be required according to hospital guidelines /n /n Requirements/n -
Active NC or compact RN license required at time of application -
Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience -
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) -
First-time travelers are welcome - Must live more than 50 miles
from the facility to be eligible - Previous staff must have a
1-year break to return as a traveler - System limit of 2
consecutive contracts before a 6-month break is required /n
