Job Description:

Liberty Healthcare seeks a dedicated Home Care Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) who is committed to providing excellent physical therapy services in the home settings of our clients. This position entails assisting licensed physical therapists in the administration of interventions and treatments to improve patients' functional abilities. The ideal candidate should be passionate about achieving patient wellness and comfortable working in a home care environment. Assist physical therapists in conducting patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and obtaining physical examination results. Implement therapeutic plans and exercises under the supervision of a physical therapist to improve patient mobility and reduce discomfort. Monitor patient progress and report their responses to treatments to the supervising physical therapist. Educate patients and their families on follow-up care and exercises that can be done at home. Ensure all treatment modalities are carried out safely and effectively in accordance with Liberty Healthcare's policies and compliance standards. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records. Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and recovery. Strong practical skills in physical therapy techniques and treatment modalities. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an empathetic understanding of patient needs and concerns. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a home care setting. Proficient in using healthcare information systems and mobile communication devices to update treatment records and coordinate with the healthcare team. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Valid Physical Therapy Assistant state license. CPR and BLS certification.
