HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days, evenings, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Location: Fayetteville, NC 28304 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift – 3x12 hours / Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Job Responsibilities Provide comprehensive critical care nursing to ICU patients Monitor, assess, and document patient status using Epic EMR Administer and titrate vasoactive, cardiac, sedative, and paralytic infusions Manage ventilated patients and advanced life-support equipment Interpret EKGs and dysrhythmias (EKG exam required) Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective care Float within scope to other ICUs or sister campuses as needed Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of ICU experience Active NC or Compact RN license (pending not accepted) Epic experience – Required Travel experience – Required Must pass Advanced EKG exam (no exceptions) Certifications: BLS ACLS NIHSS Skills & Clinical Competencies IV & Line Management IV therapy, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines Blood product administration Respiratory & Thoracic Care Ventilator management BiPAP / CPAP Chest tube insertion and removal assistance Cardiac & Hemodynamic Care Cardiac rhythm interpretation Management of dysrhythmias Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips Obtain and interpret 12-lead EKGs Neurological Care ICP monitoring Lumbar drains Post-craniotomy care Renal & Metabolic Care Acute and chronic renal failure management IV insulin protocols Other ICU Care Multisystem organ failure management GI surgery patients Thermoregulation (hypothermia/hyperthermia) HonorVet Technologies Job ID 31633687.
