Community hospital experience Description: Interventional Radiology
Technologist needed for an immediate start. The position requires a
minimum of one year of experience. Call is required and will be
split between three technologists. Techs will rotate weekend call
shifts. Weekend call duties include Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and
Sunday. The week following a weekend call week will include
Thursday only. The week prior to a weekend call week will involve
Monday and Wednesday. Epic experience is preferred. Candidates must
have experience with interventional radiology procedures. Skills
required include hybrid operating room experience and various
interventional techniques. Examples of procedures include adrenal
angiography, chest tube placement, liver biopsy, and paracentesis.
Additional skills include recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias
and performing EKG lead placement. Candidates should be familiar
with special procedures, PACS, and vascular access techniques.
Daily patient census will be approximately 210 with a typical
patient ratio of 1:1. Interdisciplinary support will be available
from various medical teams. Candidates must comply with health and
safety protocols, including sterile techniques. Requirements
