Job Title: Clinical Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Mids Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: One (1) year of nursing experience required License: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification required Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. Reports and is accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director. Responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting. Participates in identifying and meeting learning needs of self. Attends education programs based on identified learning needs. Uses patient education materials relevant to the patient population with assistance. Assesses readiness to learn of the patient, family, and caregivers. Assesses the developmental level of patients and factors affecting their ability to learn. Identifies expected patient outcomes. Seeks guidance as needed in revision of the plan of care.
