Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Wilmington, NC Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $1,790 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Wilmington, North Carolina, 28401! ```htmlJob Opportunity – Med/Surg Telemetry RN – North Carolina Start Date: February 23, 2026 Location: Wilmington, North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week Highlights: Patient ratio of 1:5-6 in a 43-bed unit with an average census of 39 Diverse case mix including Med/Surg and Telemetry patients with diagnoses such as diabetes, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, GI bleed, CVA, and post-surgical recovery Epic EMR and Pyxis medication system with 24 hours of unit orientation Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, rapid response teams, and pharmacy 13-week contract with maximum 7 days requested time off and 12-16 weekend shifts required Floating within the hospital system may be required based on unit needs Requirements: Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg and Telemetry nursing experience Active North Carolina or Compact State RN license (must be in hand at start) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Must pass EKG testing prior to start date Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV insulin protocols, wound care/wound vac, colostomy care, feeding tube management, blood product administration, central line blood draws, PICC line management, IV starts, PCA pumps, chest tubes, BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and isolation precautions Experience with pre/post hemodialysis management, tracheostomy care, accessing ports, surgical drains, and ABG interpretation preferred Epic charting experience preferred Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only) Willingness to work Storm Team/Hurricane Team assignments and report during catastrophic events or disasters Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic acute care environment where you'll utilize advanced Med/Surg and Telemetry skills while caring for a diverse patient population.
