Registered Nurse (RN) | Oncology Location: Wilmington, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,053 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Oncology Chemo Certified Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required; first-time travelers accepted License: Active State License in Nursing required Certifications: Oncology Certification, BLS required Must-Have: - Chemo administration experience - Med/Surg experience - Experience in an inpatient setting Description: RTO after booking is not allowed. Call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could lead to cancellations. The manager is looking for skilled RNs with Med/Surg and Oncology experience. Experience with colostomy care, accessing ports, and administering blood products is required. Central line blood draw and peripheral line care/management experience is needed. PICC line management and familiarity with heparin and insulin are essential. Knowledge of surgical drains, chest tubes, nasal cannula, and non-invasive airway management is necessary. Experience with isolation precautions and wound care is important. The primary patient population includes general medical-surgical patients with a history of oncology. Team members may be required to float to similar units or alternate care locations. Weekend work is required every other week. Contract staff may be expected to work during disasters or emergencies. Staffing ratios are 1:6 on average. Daily census averages 42 patients. Attendance at monthly staff meetings is expected. The candidate must pass EKG testing prior to the start of their assignment.
