nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in

/n/n Job Details: /n • Work 3x12 night shifts in the Emergency
Centre /n• Every other weekend (EOW) required /n• Patient ratio of
4:1 for all shifts (days, nights, weekends) /n• 36 hours of
orientation provided /n• Float within hospital as needed /n• Care
for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics,
adolescents, adults, and geriatrics /n• Work in a 34-room emergency
department with 104 total beds and daily census of 84 /n• Required
certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC /n• Preferred
certifications: CPI, PALS /n• 3 years of experience preferred, will
consider 1 year of experience /n• Previous charge experience
preferred /n• EPIC charting system experience required /n•
Community hospital experience required /n• NC state or compact RN
license required /n• Must be proficient in emergency department
procedures including triage, IV management, blood product
administration, procedural sedation, chest tube management,
BiPAP/CPAP, ventilated patient care, and trauma management /n•
Handle diverse patient conditions including stroke care,
psychiatric emergencies, trauma cases, and general emergency
medicine /n• Interdisciplinary support includes radiology and unit
secretary /n• Must include all requested time off at submission

emergency center providing 24/7 emergency medical services to the
community. The emergency department features 34 treatment rooms
within a 104-bed hospital facility, maintaining a daily census of
84 patients. The facility is designated as a stroke certified
center and provides non-trauma emergency department services with
capabilities for handling complex medical emergencies, psychiatric
cases, and general emergency medicine. The organization utilizes
EPIC electronic health records and maintains high standards for
patient care with interdisciplinary support services. /n/n
