high-performing environment. We are looking for patient centered
radiologic technologists, who are willing to learn and grow in a
fast-paced clinic. Work Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday, 8:00 A.
M. - 5:00 P.M. and rotating weekend coverage. May also require
flex-schedule to accommodate early and late patients. Summary :
Performs radiographic and other diagnostic imaging procedures to
assist orthopedic providers in the diagnosis of disease and
injuries by performing the following duties. This position requires
compliance with OrthoEasts compliance standards, including its Code
of Conduct, Compliance Program, and policies and procedures. Such
compliance will be an element required as part of the job duties
andconsidered during performance evaluations. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities : include the following: This is a full-time
position which requires consistent attendance, being on time, and
conforming to the work schedule as described in the job
description. Prepares and positions patient for diagnostic imaging
procedures. Adjusts immobilization devices to obtain optimum views
of specified area of body requested by physician Explains
procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient
cooperation. Moves imaging equipment into specified position,
determines exposure factors on basis of height, weight, portion of
body involved, and degree of penetration required, and adjusts
equipment controls to set exposure factors and produce images of
proper detail, density, and accuracy. Practices radiation
protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff.
Performs specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures,
including computed radiography, digital radiography, and bone
density studies if indicated. Processes images and reviews for
proper identification and quality control. Prepares images for
reading by requesting physician. Performs routine maintenance,
diagnoses malfunctions, and makes minor repairs on radiologic
equipment, arranging for repairs as needed. Completes forms and
maintains records, logs, and reports of work performed. Other
duties as required. Qualifications : To perform this job

Experience : Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year
college or technical school in radiologic technology. Six months
job-related experience preferred. ARRT certification required. CPR
certification required. Basic computer skills required. Experience
in maintaining confidentiality in dealing with sensitive issues.
Successful record of follow through on commitments and demonstrated
ability. Required Behaviors: The physical demands of this position
require standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching,
stretching, talking and hearing. The employee must frequently lift
and/or move more than 50 pounds in positioning patients. Specific
vision abilities required by this job include close vision work.
Good communication skills required in dealing with diverse patient
population, often concerning stress and/or emotional situations.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. Ability to
handle frequent change, delays, and/or unexpected events. Must be
willing to work in a team environment and contribute to building a
positive team spirit. Must be able to stay focused during work
periods of high patient volume. Work Environment : The work
