Job Description Gastroenterology opening: New Bern, NC~ 50m to GreenvilleAbout the Job - Full-time - Permanent - Employed - Currently have 4 GI physicians and are looking for at least one more to meet the needs of our growing practice and our community - Three procedure room endoscopy suite within the GI clinic and a brand new facility completed in 2020 - One GI physician who does ERCP and EUS - Call schedule would be one in five for weekdays and weekends would be one in seven - Clinics are very well equipped - Advanced EMR system - Larger clinics we have robust ancillary services such as 128 slice CT, an array of ultrasounds echo and vascular, multiple nuclear medicine cameras, digital 3D mammography, digital radiology, bone density, high complexity laboratory, neurology lab, sleep center, endoscopy suite and a chemo infusion suite all within our facilities. Compensation - Salary and benefits package is exceptional and will be more than competitive with a minimum 2 year guarantee with bonus potential. - Base Starting salary will be in the neighborhood of $525,000 - $25,000 negotiable sign on bonus - Full complement of benefits, health and dental for the family, long term and short disability, life insurance, 403B retirement plan, 457 retirement plan, money purchase pension retirement plan (one of the few hospitals to offer this), malpractice insurance (retroactive & tail), 30 days of vacation, 10 days CME, $7,000 for CME expenses and dues/subscriptions, and more - WRVU based productivity with very obtainable bonus incentives - Salary and production model is based off of three national data sources (MGMA, AMGA, and one other) that is updated annually - 2 year salary guarantee before production comes into play. *"Our physicians are very satisfied with this model and we are a firm believer in providing our physicians with a great work life balance!"*About the Health System - 350 bed acute care hospital that is recognized for numerous prestigious awards. - Opening a state of the art cancer center in conjunction with UNC in Summer 2020 in New Bern. - Large referral base throughout coastal North Carolina. - This dynamic, hospital owned multispecialty group consist of 100 physicians and extenders with offices in four coastal NC counties.
