Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Wilmington, NC Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $1,794 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse – North Carolina Start Date: March 9, 2026 Location: Wilmington, North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), 36 or 48 hours per week, every other weekend required Highlights: Adult and geriatric medical/surgical unit with general patient population, daily census of approximately 43 Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6-7; charge role responsibilities for night shift travelers Epic charting system with experience managing insulin and heparin drips, wound vac dressing changes, and high flow oxygen 13-26 week contract lengths available with 24 hours of paid orientation Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams Floating to similar units may be required based on facility needs and census Requirements: Active North Carolina or Compact state RN license (must be in hand at start) Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical nursing experience BLS certification required; CPI preferred Epic charting experience required Proficiency with insulin and heparin drips mandatory Previous charge nurse experience preferred Must pass EKG testing prior to start date Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only) Availability to work holidays and every other weekend Willingness to serve on Inclement Weather/Storm Team as needed Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers experienced medical/surgical nurses the opportunity to expand their leadership skills in a charge role while caring for a diverse adult and geriatric patient population.
