Registered Nurse (Med/Surg-Oncology) – North Carolina Start Date:
March 9, 2026 Location: Wilmington, North Carolina Compensation:
Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift,
13-26 week assignment, every other weekend required, 1:6
nurse-to-patient ratio Highlights: Medical/Surgical unit with
oncology patient population; daily census of 42 beds Chemotherapy
and biotherapy administration experience required (IV, PO, and
injection routes) Epic charting system with Pyxis medication
management Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV
teams, rapid response, pharmacy, and respiratory services 24-hour
orientation period (2 shifts) provided Float requirements include
similar units and alternate care locations as needed Requirements:
Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state) Minimum 2 years
of nursing experience in an inpatient setting Oncology Nursing
Certification (ONS/ONCC) required Current BLS certification
Experience with accessing ports, blood product administration,
central line management, PICC lines, and isolation precautions
Competency in colostomy care, surgical drains, chest tubes, wound
care/wound vac, and dysrhythmia interpretation First-time travelers
accepted; local candidates considered Must pass EKG testing prior
to start date Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions
