seeking experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant for
the Cornerstone Family Practice and Urgent Care in Fayetteville,
NC. Hours: Monday- Thursday 7:30-12:30p, lunch 12:30-1:30p,
1:30-5:00p Benefits: $85,000-120,000 commensurate on experience

Requirements: Other duties and responsibilities include, but are
not limited to: Providing high-quality care, increasing access &
improving outcomes for Veterans. Obtaining and evaluating medical
histories; performing physical examinations; performing therapeutic
and diagnostic procedures; and ordering laboratory studies,
radiographs, electrocardiograms, and other special examinations.
Making arrangements for further care if appropriate (e.g., by
entering consults) and serving as a consultant to other providers.
Working collaboratively with all levels of staff including trainees
(e.g. medical students, NP/RN students, PA students, interns,
residents, etc.) and a multidisciplinary staff in a fast-paced
educational, and collegial environment. Developing and implementing
evidence based nursing protocols and organizing educational
activities targeted toward staff training and development.
Physician's Assistant Requirements: Takes initial patient histories
and performs physical examinations. Initiates, documents, and
communicates the plan of care and follows up to ensure complete
screening and preparation of patients. Performs daily patient
rounds. Writes orders for medications, laboratory work, and
diagnostic tests. Interprets laboratory and test results. Confers
with attending physicians, residents, nursing staff, and/or other
care providers to ensure optimum quality of patient care. Upon
discharge, notes discharge summaries, prescriptions, and any
referrals on patient charts. Informs patients of the necessary
post-discharge care instructions. Performs related duties as

functions. Requirements: PA Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree
(BPAS or a related field) required. Master’s degree (MPAS)
preferred. Graduate of an accredited program for physician
assistants, including preceptorship. Certification by applicable
professional organization. Minimum five-years of combined approved
academic training and healthcare experience required, or as VA
contractual requirements specify. Experience as a physician
assistant must be in a related primary care or ambulatory care
setting, government healthcare environment preferred. Specific
requirements could vary based on individual VA contract. Must be
credentialed and remain in good standing through the Veterans
Health Administration (VA). Must comply with and maintain all
requirements for a valid, unrestricted license in the state of
desired employment, or in any U.S. state or territory, depending on
VA contractual requirements. Current certification in Basic Life
Support (must be renewed periodically as specified by the
certifying agency – AHA valid for two years, e.g.) and in ACLS as
specified by individual VAMC contract. Current, unrestricted Drug
Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration. Proficiency in
written and spoken English. Strong computer skills. Energetic and
optimistic demeanor. Strong service mentality and a focus on
achieving all aspects of defined service standards. This is
considered a safety sensitive position. NP Job Requirements: •
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and graduate of an
accredited program for nurse practitioner (MSN required), including
preceptorship • Certification by applicable professional
organization • Minimum one-year clinical experience (three years
preferred) as a CRNP within the last 4 years in a related primary
care or ambulatory care setting; government healthcare environment
preferred. Specific requirements could vary based on individual VA
contract. • Must be credentialed and remain in good standing
