Minimum 2 years License: Current unencumbered license to practice
by the State Board of Nursing Certifications: CPR certification and
Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and
prior to any patient contact Must-Have Skills/Experience: Must be
at least 21 years of age. Previous experience in a psychiatric
health care facility is preferred. Direct experience working with
chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric
patients is preferred. Experience in patient assessments, family
motivations, and treatment planning is required. Experience in
communication with external review organizations or comparable
entities is required. Description: The unit provides a dynamic and
supportive environment for patients in need of behavioral health
care. The nurse will be responsible for patient assessments and
treatment planning. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise
in working with adult patients and diverse patient populations.
Flexibility in working hours is expected. Collaboration with the

with a patient ratio of 1:11 in a unit that is equipped with modern
