Southern Health Partners is seeking a dedicated Nursing Team Manager to join our specialized healthcare team within a dynamic correctional facility environment. This pivotal role focuses on spearheading a team of nursing professionals to deliver high-quality, innovative, and compassionate healthcare services to our patients. By integrating your clinical expertise and leadership skills, you will ensure the efficient management of daily operations, adherence to our high standards, and the ongoing enhancement of patient care practices in a cost-effective manner. Direct and oversee the nursing staff to ensure adherence to quality standards, regulations, and healthcare laws. Coordinate staff training, development, and evaluation to ensure a competent workforce. Monitor and optimize budgetary allocations for nursing supplies and activities. Develop and implement new policies and procedures to enhance patient care efficiency and safety. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians and administrative staff, to enhance the effectiveness of integrating health services. Ensure the proper documentation and confidentiality of health records. Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and retention of qualified nursing staff. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under stressful conditions Proficient in healthcare management systems and patient care software Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Current RN license valid in the state of employment Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification (preferred)
