Job Description:
Travel Nurse Across America (TNAA) is actively seeking a
dedicated Operating Room Nurse to join our dynamic team, providing
unparalleled patient care while embracing the adventure and
mobility that comes with travel nursing. Our Operating Room Nurses
play a critical role in a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring
sterile environments and facilitating innovative surgeries across
the nation. Beyond offering exposure to diverse settings and
cutting-edge techniques, TNAA nurtures professional growth while
supporting balance in your personal life and career. Prepare
operating rooms for surgery, ensuring sterile and safe conditions.
Assist surgeons during operations by arranging and handing them
instruments and supplies. Monitor and assess patients' conditions
before, during, and after surgery. Maintain a clean, safe, and
organized nursing station and adhere to all procedural standards
and regulations. Coordinate with healthcare professionals to plan,
implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Educate patients and
their families on surgical procedures and postoperative care.
Control and monitor the necessary surgical equipment and tools.
Proficiency in managing general and specialized surgical
instruments. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability
to respond quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with electronic medical records and healthcare software.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
Current RN license valid in the state of practice. BLS (Basic Life
Support) Certification. ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Certification preferred.
